Your Right to Data Deletion
At Aryna, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page provides clear instructions on how to delete your data from our platform, whether you want to remove specific information or delete your entire account.
What Data We Store
Before proceeding with deletion, it's helpful to understand what data we collect and store:
Account Information
- Name, email address, and password
- Profile information (bio, profile picture, social media handles)
- Account preferences and settings
- Billing and payment information
Content and Activity
- Draft posts and scheduled content
- Generated content using our AI tools
- Social media posts published through Aryna
- Analytics and engagement data
- Usage history and activity logs
Social Media Connections
- Connected social media accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, etc.)
- Access tokens and permissions
- Analytics data from connected platforms
Technical Data
- IP addresses and device information
- Browser and app usage data
- Error logs and crash reports
- Cookie and tracking data
How to Delete Your Data
Option 1: Self-Service Account Deletion (Recommended)
Step 1: Access Your Account Settings
- Log in to your Aryna account at aryna.ai
- Navigate to your profile by clicking on your avatar in the top-right corner
- Select "Account Settings" from the dropdown menu
Step 2: Review Your Data
- In Account Settings, review the following sections:
- Profile Information: Check what personal data is stored
- Connected Accounts: See which social media accounts are linked
- Content: Review your drafts and published posts
- Billing: Check your subscription and payment information
Step 3: Delete Specific Data (Optional)
Before deleting your entire account, you can remove specific data:
Delete Individual Posts
- Go to the "Content" or "Posts" section
- Find the post you want to delete
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the post
- Select "Delete" and confirm
Unlink Social Media Accounts
- Go to "Connected Accounts" in your settings
- Click "Unlink" next to any social media account
- Confirm the action
- Note: This will revoke Aryna's access to that platform
Clear Draft Content
- Navigate to your drafts folder
- Select all drafts you want to delete
- Click "Delete Selected" and confirm
Step 4: Delete Your Account
- Scroll to the bottom of Account Settings
- Find the "Delete Account" section
- Click "Delete My Account"
- Read the warning message carefully
- Enter your password to confirm
- Click "Permanently Delete Account"
⚠️ Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Option 2: Contact Support for Deletion
If you're unable to delete your account through the self-service option, you can request deletion by contacting our support team:
Email Request
Send an email to privacy@aryna.ai with:
- Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
- Your full name
- Email address associated with your account
- Reason for deletion (optional)
- Any specific data you want deleted
Support Ticket
- Go to aryna.ai/support
- Create a new support ticket
- Select "Data Deletion Request" as the category
- Provide the required information above
Option 3: Legal Rights Request
If you're exercising your legal rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or U.S. state privacy laws:
EU/UK Residents
- Email: dpo@aryna.ai
- Include "GDPR Data Deletion Request" in the subject line
- Provide proof of identity if requested
U.S. Residents
- Email: privacy@aryna.ai
- Include your state of residence in the email
- Specify if you're exercising rights under CCPA, CPRA, or other state laws
What Happens After Deletion
Immediate Actions
- Your account will be deactivated immediately
- You will be logged out of all devices
- Access to the platform will be revoked
Data Processing Timeline
- Account data: Deleted within 24 hours
- Content and posts: Removed within 48 hours
- Analytics data: Anonymized within 30 days
- Backup data: Permanently deleted within 90 days
- Legal/audit records: Retained as required by law (up to 6 years)
Social Media Content
- Posts published through Aryna will remain on social media platforms
- You'll need to manually delete these posts from each platform
- Aryna's access to your social media accounts will be revoked
Third-Party Services
- Payment information will be deleted from our payment processor
- Analytics data will be removed from third-party services
- Email marketing lists will be updated to exclude your email
Data Retention Exceptions
Some data may be retained for legal or operational reasons:
Legal Requirements
- Billing records for tax purposes (up to 6 years)
- Fraud prevention data (up to 2 years)
- Legal dispute records (as required by law)
Security and Compliance
- Access logs for security analysis (up to 18 months)
- Compliance audit trails (as required by regulations)
- Backup data for disaster recovery (up to 90 days)
Anonymized Data
- Aggregated usage statistics (no personal identifiers)
- System performance metrics
- Research and development data
Verification and Confirmation
Deletion Confirmation
After your deletion request is processed, you will receive:
- Email confirmation of account deletion
- List of data that was deleted
- Information about any data retained for legal reasons
- Timeline for complete data removal
Verification Process
If you want to verify that your data has been deleted:
- Wait 30 days after your deletion request
- Contact privacy@aryna.ai
- Request a verification of deletion
- We will provide a detailed report of what was deleted
Recovery and Reactivation
Can I Recover My Account?
- No: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible
- No: We cannot restore deleted data
- No: You cannot reactivate a deleted account
Starting Fresh
If you want to use Aryna again after deletion:
- Create a new account with a different email address
- Set up your profile from scratch
- Reconnect your social media accounts
- Start creating content again

A: Account deactivation is immediate. Complete data removal takes up to 90 days due to backup systems and legal requirements.
Q: Will my social media posts be deleted?
A: No. Posts published to social media platforms remain on those platforms. You must delete them manually from each platform.
Q: Can I delete just my content but keep my account?
A: Yes. You can delete individual posts and drafts without deleting your entire account.
Q: What if I change my mind after requesting deletion?
A: If you contact us within 24 hours of your deletion request, we may be able to stop the process. After 24 hours, deletion is irreversible.
Q: Do I need to cancel my subscription first?
A: No. When you delete your account, any active subscriptions will be automatically cancelled and refunded according to our billing policy.
Q: Will you notify me when deletion is complete?
A: Yes. You'll receive an email confirmation when your account is deleted and another when all data has been permanently removed.
